Old Eddie Hobbs would be beside himself over here! With the exception of cars, everything apppears cheaper here.
You can get a good feed for 2 Euro (try getting that at home!). PC software (i.e. games!) a lot cheaper, even in proper shops! Everything else I've bought has been similarly discounted. Got a mobile phone with 100 free minutes and 500 (local) texts for about €12.50/month. No wonder Irish mobile phone companies are amongst the most profitable in the world!
Why didn't a tight arse like myself leave yonks ago?!
