Hi, devoted fan(s)!
I am starting to look for job/work permit out here now in the land of the rising red tape. The only thing that I am doing at the moment is sweating bullets (and it's not that hot here, relatively speaking!).
An interesting feature of the cityscape here are the storm drains on most streets. Literally large drains with no railings of any kind around them. Imagine that in Ireland? There would be people bellyflopping in there for compo! Here, if you're stupid/drunk enough to fall in, tough! Which is as it should be, I reckon. Still, where did I put my flippers?!!!
