Mamma Mia!

Had the most amazing ice cream last night. Well, it was gelato to be precise - a very low fat, high quality Italian dessert made slighty differently than ice cream.

I've never tasted a fruit flavoured food before that tasted exactly like the fruit. Fantastic stuff and it's almost good for you too! The flavour we tried was durian, which is not a fruit a lot of you folks would be familar with. It's a highly pungent fruit that is said to smell like hell and taste like heaven. A lot of foreigners think that the taste is like hell too, but I like it. It's a strong taste (and whiff!) to be sure, though!
