Ever try lugging a 28 inch TV up 3 flights of stairs in humid conditions?! Not a pleasant experience. I was sweating bullets and it only took a few minutes! The TV was hard to grip at the best of times, but sweaty paws exacerbated the situation considerably!
Herself got a call this morning from the maid (who looks after the place for the landlady), asking for my assistance in carting the TV up from the ground floor. This is one of these maids who works about 12 hours a day (at least), 7 days a week for a pittance. Part of her brief is lugging things around, some of which are quite heavy. What a gig, eh?
Still, we managed in the end, so thankfully I have a TV for the last few days. It'll save me setting up the tuner on the laptop all the time.
