Believe it or not, they have an equivalent of the Cork' phrase, “like, boy”, here in Singlish. After practically every sentence, the locals add on "la" (pronounced "lah", as in the musical note!).
I haven't detected the equivalent of "cute hoor" or "happy out" yet, though!
By the way, that Singlish is very hard to understand! It's the Singaporean flavour of English, complete with grammar mistakes and strange accents. It's hard to describe what it's like, but you wouldn't think it was English at all if you heard it. I have practically no idea what the natives say most of the time, which makes it especially tough when dealing with official personnel about visas etc.
