I hope everyone has a nice day and a great weekend. This is only my second Paddy's day as part as the Irish diaspora (not counting the early 70s in London!), both spent in Eastern Asia.
I went up to the nearby road that I mentioned before, decked out in my Irish finery to mark the occasion. Since I got complaints about the last picture of me that I posted, I tried to be less camp in this picture. I think that I accomplished that!!
Note right beside me is one of those large storm drains, also previously mentioned. I'm sure one or two of you are thinking that it's a pity that I didn't fall into it!
There's a small parade here on Sunday, so the jersey will be on duty again then. Will post on that in due course.

I'm afraid you didn't achieve it, your natural campness in last pic will never be superceded by contrived campness, you are in danger with that storm drain, as you're one of the few people I know that would fall through that small hole in the wall
Tiger D
At least I'd fit in the drain, unlike some!!!!!!!
Hi Aidan
Today being emigrant day in Ireland, we are asked to remember our country (and county) folk who are aboroad at this time.. and out popped your name.. so I log on only to find out that you'll be back amongst us in a week!! Have a great Paddys day in any event. Mayo fortunes are looking good this year so could be a great summer. slan
Hi Aidan.. My last blog comment seems to have disappeared.. I hear you are coming home next week! Have a good day today..
Thanks a million anyway (H, I presume?!).
It could be our year this year! But when have I heard that before?!
