Satisfy my soul

Keeping with the food theme, they have some green stuff over here that's very nice. It's called 'kaya' and it's made from coconut milk and egg (as opposed to the 'kaya' used by Bob Marley, which is cannabis!). It's green because they stick pandan leaves (I didn't know what pandan was either until I googled it and found this! Tasty and good for the skin - too good to be true?!) in the mixture.

Kaya is smooth and has the consistancy of jam perhaps. It is used like, err, jam; as a spread, in buns & cakes etc.

I shall miss it on my return. Perhaps, I will procure a recipe before I leave. Haven't seen many pandan leaves at home though!
