Failure one to communicate!
The first PFO email has arrived. This was for the second interview that I did for the Polytechnic (see here for more info). This was expected as I made a dog's dinner out of that interview! At least they sent me an email, something they don't usually do over here to losers, err, unsuccessful candidates, I mean!
Only one (fairly slim) chance left before I throw in the towel altogether.
Keep those fingers crossed for me!

Good luck in the next one. There is a disturbing pattern emerging here, you'll just have to go to "doing a good interview" classes when you come back, or alternatively there must be at least 50 books on it in your air conditioned library. You'd also think after many years of intensive bantering that you'd have refined the old communication skills.

Thanks, I think!
I usually do OK at interviews, except for the times:
- when I want the job really badly
- I talk too much
- I forget the original question mid-ramble
- I say completely the wrong thing!!!!
The first interview went fine. As stated previously, the reason the second one went so badly was that I had forgotten the original job spec and thus couldn't position myself correctly.
FYI: I've already perused that section in the library!!
