I will not miss the following things! In approximate order:
1. The unbelievable bad manners/lack of common courtesy out here
2. The damn humidity and oppressive heat (there's a surprise inclusion!)
3. Exploitation of the poor foreigners (especially maids and construction workers)
4. Seeing (really) old people having to work in food courts, because they are not taken care of properly by the government and/or their families.
5. Ants, geckos and other assorted creepy crawlies!
6. The bad TV, particularly the incessant and repetitive advertising.
7. My apartment (not the most comfortable or best equipped place that I have ever stayed in!).
8. Spicy food (what's the point of getting the mouth burnt off you?!)
9. Getting bossed about a bit (although that has practically stopped!)
10. Sticking out like a sore thumb! (going back to where being a pale ang moh is de rigeur!)

Missing a library is tres geeky, you will stick out here as well when you come back as do all those with Rodney Trotter physiques.
I hear there is a party planned at Dublin airport, bigger than the Triple Crown homecoming except this one will just comprise releived ladies that your singledom is in tact and they still have a potential shot at the title!!

Geeky, it may be, but it's also true! It would deserve its place on the list for the air conditioning alone, never mind the knowledge/enjoyment it provided me!!
I am a bit worried about getting swamped at the airport - I'm sure security will be laid on to protect me though!!!
if it is looking like you're going to be mobbed by relieved ladies you can always make use of your rodney physique and slip down the gap at the end of the escalator

Is it just me, or is Tiger D unusually fixated with my figure?!
I would like to assure everyone that we are just friends! A few years of Slimfast, Tiger D, and you too could have the perfect figure!!!
While we're on the subject, I think I've put on a little weight over here. Herself is in agreement on that, so I mightn't fit in the escalator gap anymore!!
Forgot to include the job scene over here in my list. The long hour, low pay model definitely sucks, as our American brethern would say!
