Full circle

This might be a risky post, but what the hell; when did I ever shirk from controversy?! Besides, I'm about 6000 miles away (for now, anyway!).

Before I came out here, I thought Oriental women were exotic beauties and Irish women were just, err, beauties!

Now that I'm out here though for the best part of 2 months, things have changed. I see so many natives now and so few Western women that, you'll be pleased to know, mna na hEireann, you are now the exotic beauties in my eyes!!!!

I assume from this the optimum situation would be to keep changing continents. That way there will always be something more exotic in the distance, and a perfect excuse not to commit to what's at hand...???

Regarding mna na hEireann...the problem is, what are you in their eyes?

Oh Thank God,
I'm still in with a chance then! I was just about to give up the pursuit - renewed hope...

Yup, that's a risky post alright. Make sure to give us a full damage report!

My, my - such a flurry of comments!! I guess I'll have to be controversal in future to keep the interactivity level up!! I'm glad at least that the post was not misconstrued as I feared it might have been!

In chronological order, here's my response to the damage:

Mrs Stalker, never give up hope. Someday, you may get really lucky and be allowed inside that 200 yard exclusion zone covered by the barring order!!!

It's moot really what the women think of me - I was referring to my opinion of them! Obviously, if they thought sufficiently of me, sob, I wouldn't have had to come so far in search of love!!!

An astute point, Anonymous! I was merely saying in my post that, at the end of the day, you take what you're used to for granted and far away fields are always greener. Plus, the lad did well and it was a game of 2 halves!!!!! Seriously though, I'm not afraid of commi...., committ..., committme..., committment!!! It's finding the object of that committment (i.e the committee!) that may be the problem.

Just as long as you remember that when you get home! M.
